Arrival

Merano is reachable the whole year with different means of transport:

BY CAR
from the north:

• Munich - Rosenheim - Kufstein (A12 Inntal Freeway, obligatory toll) - Innsbruck (A3 brennero Freeway, obligatory toll) - Bolzano - there take the exit Bolzano south and go into the MEBO highway to Merano
• Munich - Garmisch - Innsbruck - Brennero (A22 Brennero Freewy, obligatory toll) - Bolzano - there take the exit Bolzano south and go into the MEBO highway to Merano
• Brennero - Vipiteno - Passo Giovo (it is a mountain street) - Val Passiria - Merano
• AUSTRIA: Ötztal - Passo Rombo (it is a mountain street only open from june til october) - Val Passiria - Merano

from the west:

• AUSTRIA:Ulm - Kempten - Füssen - Fernpass - Imst - Landeck - Passo Resia (State road 40+38) - Merano
• AUSTRIA: Bregenz - Feldkirch - Arlberg - Landeck - Passo Resia (State road 40+38) - Merano
• SWITZERLAND: St. Moritz - Ofenpass - Münster - Taufers in Münster - Glorenza - Merano
• SWITZERLAND: Zürich - Lanquart - Klosters - Vereinatunnel - Zernez - Ofenpass - Münster - Taufers in Münster - Glorenza - Merano

from the east

• AUSTRIA: from Lienz - Innichen - Val Pusteria (State Road 49) - A22 Brennero Freeway (obligatory toll) to Bolzano - there take the exit Bolzano south and go into the MEBO highway to Merano

If you are heading towards Meran coming from Bozen or the Reschen Pass, leave the ahead motorway MEBO (Meran - Bozen) at exit "Meran Centre". Take a right and go straight, towards Meran. At the second traffic light take a right and proceed straight ahead, pass by the railway station until you reach a roundabout. Drive into the roundabout and half-way round, turn into 'Freiheitsstrasse'. After about 400 meters you will reach 'Theaterplatz', the square on which the theatre is located. You enter in a closed aera. In 300 meters on the left you can stop in front of the hotel.
We will welcome you and take care of your belongings.

The Hotel ImperialArt is located 1.300 meters from the railway station. You can reach us by bus (nr. 1 or 4) or we organize you a taxi to the Hotel.
