Iron

Ulrich Eggers favorite material for his sculptures is the iron, that’s why the name of the room is IRON. When you enter in this mystic room you note immediately the 3 red neon tubes, which are the cause of a mysterious and cordial atmosphere. The armoire is not as normal visible, it seems an illuminated translucent glass wall. The bed, the bedside tables and the escritoire are made of the same clear material and it seems like they are bleeding into each other. In the backside of the bed is a dark iron wall with rusty stains. The TV screen is integrated in a dark iron sculpture of the artist and next to it dangles an elegant red chandelier, which is a very important decoration feature of the artist’s rooms. The clear natural flagstones in the bathroom with shower point up the elegancy of the whole room. Enjoy a warm evening in summer on the balcony facing the inside patio with a breathtaking view to the famous Tappeiner path and the mountains.
